How to trade tokens

Trading on TaalSwap is simple and easy. You'll never be hassled by presumptuous jargons, and everything you need (including calculations) is taken care of by TaalSwap.

Setting up for trading

Before you trade, you will need an Ethereum-compatible wallet. To get one, refer to this page. You will also need to have some ETH or ERC-20 tokens to trade with. (You will need Klay or Klaytn-compatible tokens such as KUSDT and KDAI in case you are connected to Klaytn.)

This guide assumes that you are on Ethereum chain, but even if you are on Klaytn, you should be able to easily use TaalSwap AMM because the user environment is identical with Ethereum's except that you are connected to Klaytn-compatible wallet.

Trading on the TaalSwap exchange

1. Go to the TaalSwap exchange page.

2. Unlock your Ethereum-compatible wallet by clicking on Unlock Wallet.

You can also connect your wallet by clicking on Connect Wallet button at the upper right-hand corner.

3. First select 'Ethereum' from the dropdown network menu in the "To" box (If you are connected to a Klaytn wallet, you will see 'Klaytn' instead of 'Ethereum' in the "From" box. In that case, you can select 'Klaytn' in the "To" box.), and then select the token you want to trade from the dropdown token menu in the "From" box. The default token setting is ETH. On inputting the amount of tokens for swapping, Enter an amount will be activated to the Swap button.

Before swapping, make sure you have the needed amount of tokens in your wallet to trade with. You can check your balance right above the dropdown token menu.

4. Select a token you want to trade in the "From" and "To" box, respectively. Then, enter an amount in either "From" or "To" box. The swap ratio of the two tokens will be automatically estimated.

5. Check once again if this is the transaction you want, and click on the Swap button.

6. A window with transaction details will pop up. Check if everything is correct.

If everything looks OK, click on the Confirm Swap button. Your connected wallet will ask you to confirm the action.

7. Done! Click on View on EtherScan to see your transaction details on your web browser.
